I am running the new tank (240 g) for about 1 1/2 month now. The first 2 weeks the cloudness was gone but i have a little bit of cloudy water until now. On the other hand i have still water (not moving) in some places far away from where the water comes back in the tank from the sump. Let me explain it to you.
The tank is 2,20 meters long. In the left side i have the prefilter hanging and take the water down to the sump. From the sump i have 2 water cycling pumps one with a 2,700 liters per hour (i have calculate the height) and the other 2,200 liters per hour. In the spot right underneath the prefilter box and far to the middle of the tank i have still water (not moving). That causes the cloudness of the water (dirt and small particles moving slowwwwly!!). Please advice me what can i do to solve this problem. I thought of installing 2 pumps inside the tank in the end where the water comes back in. Or what else?
