sting ray CA

is there any sting ray legel in CA, cause i saw 2 at lfs. male and female, both were about 12", they tan/light brown in color, and shape like a dimond. he want $200 each

freshwater atlantic stingrays is what they have, they are actualy salt water rays (which are legal in ca) that you can keep in freshwater but they create more urin from being in freshwater which makes it hard to keep them because you need a large tank and a huge filtration system if you dont keep them in salt water, there is alot of threads on them so you can do a search
