Hello all fishs lover,

I thinking about purchasing a freshwater string ray to add to my 300 gallon community tank which house, 19" Australian Arowana, with bicher, few catfish, big gar and big royal pleco.

My question is...Can I put that sting ray in my tank? I know my Ph level might be in the mid 7. I never have any experience with sting ray so i was wondering if they are senitive type of fish. What is their diet consist of? little info on them will be great..

Thank you!

try this in the ray section and yes this will work i'm pretty sure also best foods are shrimp and pleats :) but imo that tank is over stock as it it :( mabye you could add one but you will need bery clean water :) large water changes are need. you may want to lower PH just a bit

they are very sensitive fish!

whats the filtration on your tank? What kind of catfish anf gar? You will have to get rid of the pleco as they are known to suck on rays disks.

If you live in San Jose, California, freshwater rays are illegal. The Doctor

I have a 10 " shovel nose cat, 6" marble cat, and my spotted gar is about 18"..

Thank you for all your feed back... Maybe i should read a little more about them before I get in to it...
