Sting Rays And Tiles Aquarium

Tiled my tank with 13" tiles, just cut to size and pushed them together, no silicone just pressed in place - it held for some time but look what the rays decided to do with them.

Perhaps i'll just have to give them sand..

Wow thats interesting that they pulled them up. I really would have never guessed that they would do that.

Man thats crazy. The suction from the rays is incredible! !!! I recall when I showed u pics of my filter inlets all chewed up and broken... you were in disbelief.. but ...
Those tiles all lifted!!!!! Thats mental!!!!

yep i have the same problem, its funny to watch mine blow under them to lift them up lol, as if they were blowing thru sand to look for food!!!!! lol
 
i'm genuinely surprised - to be honest, i wish i'd saw it so i could at least comprehend how they actually do it.

It made me wonder whether it's a male hassling a large female causing her to crash around in which case perhaps her flapping across could make one bounce loose, leaving the others to slip free.

God knows though - i just can't fathom it
