Sting Rays For Sale Sites?

Hey Everybody,

I'm in one of those phases where you randomly want to find new sites with fish for sale. Well I only know two sites that sell freshwater stingrays them being aquascape (where I purchased two a few years ago and they were great!) and h20 aquatics who the user here use to help me out a lot a few years ago but now heard nothing but complaints on them. Any websites where I can just browse around and look at rays and such for sale?

Thier has to be a thread on this somewhere I looked in the search box a little bit and couldn't find much and yes I googled too but Id rather give a chance to sites where people have already purchased from thanks a million!

also this is random just trying to squeeze in another topic in one thread, is thier any bullet proof fish for stingrays (it's ok if the sting ray injures the other fish lol i say that because most likely it will be cheaper then the ray)?
I know clown loaches, discus and geos are bullet proof..thanks again, i did find some threads on the tankmate topic but it all seed sketchy and since I haven't been as much as i was in this section of mfk I figure maybe thier will be some updates.

If I were you I would look for someone who has rays or breeds rays in you region. I always seem to have bad luck when it comes to lfs our shipping rays
 
to tell the truth i would buy from a breeder not a impoter

if you were buying a dog would you buy from a breeder or buy from a pet store

importers are no better than a puppy farm who are only doing it for the money a breeder is doing it for the love of the rays and normally cares were his rays are going and give you the after care you need
 
Thank you, so probably I should look on the threads of mfk and find any breeders, as I'm in new york....dont know any breeders around here.

When i finally buy a black ray it will be from Trev if hes still doing so.. hes got a long-term good rep, and is always helpful on the forum. I bought my 3 retics locally from LFS, a little TLC and some great advise from the guys here and they are wonderful fish ( even though there are alot of retic haters around here =P ). depends what your looking for to where i would buy. Few other members here i would def buy from as well. Not big on the brown rays, at least not whats being CB now.. But there are a few guys who put out some nice pups.
 
If you want something a bit cheaper try johng if he still has any left. He had some nice mantillas and was great to deal with

Thanks for the reply, I'm probably gonna start with a motoro because I think they are more hardy and I'm still a rookie lol but I will keep you in mind when I feel confident enough to get a leo, and I heard great things about you on mfk with the breeding and shipping of pups.

I use to hear great things about them a year ago, even talk to the member on mfk who represented them and he seemed like a great guy and business, now Ive been hearing they are crooks....but shoudn't be a problem if i can go to thier facilty to pick up a ray instead of shipping.

Sorry lol but whats a TLC is that the cat fish lol, I'm no retic hater lol they do look cool too, but I think they are less hardy then the motoro stingrays.
