Hey everyone. I'm looking for a ray and wondering who has it, or who can make recommendations where to get one. I'm looking to stay between $125 and $150 max. Any less than that, well that's only for the better.

I have heard that Teacups are incredibly prone to random death. Anybody have a rebuttal? I'm not looking for any ray species specifically, just one that falls in my price range. However I understand my selection is limited. I really like the freshwater Floridas too.

I am at $150 max AFTER shipping costs. I would prefer a local pick up but if I find a great deal maybe we can work something out with shipping.

I know you're going to ask, my tank is a 125, 72x18, run on an FX5 stacked with biomax and a weekly 25-35% WC. The ray will have a home when my tank becomes too small.

PM me with any details please. I look forward to some replies!

I am starting a new small aquarium shop in Queens NY. My address 83-14 37 Ave. At the moment I have a small one and will receive more by next days.

I have motoro rays at the moment. I will have more motoros and histrix rays by the next days. Also have arowanas, blue phantom (diamond dot) plecos, geophagus, silver dollars, Myloplus rubripinnis, maculatas, cichlids and others. The price for the motoro ray is $70. Shipping from NY to Chicago is about $36.

Wow that's a pretty slick deal. Should I be skeptic of their health at that price or are you just giving me a great deal? How do you ship them? And how big are they? Male or female?

We are importing directly from South America so we can give a good price for new customers.:D The ray is healthy and colorful. Size between 4” and 5”. We can arrange an appointment to see the fish in the store.

Are you going to pay for his plane ticket from Chicago to NY?

And to keep my post somewhat on-topic, a relative of mine is going to have motoro pups relatively soon, located in east central Wisconsin, approx. 2.5 hours north of Chicago. No idea on the price, etc. at this time, but if you would be interested in local pups it's an option.

Haha. Yeah I'm not sure if he wants me out there or what. I'm always interested to hear what people have to offer. Keep my post in mind and update me with anything please!
