So I was just on Facebook and saw a what I assume is a black diamond It had more white than black. I would show but not tech savoy and probably not right thing to do. I'm completely amazed how this hobby has become in such a short time. I have actively been keeping rays since 2006 and have had many failures and some successes in this hobby. It seems as if some are truly getting a grasp of this hobby and rays are reaching a whole new level .
I would love to visit a breeder that is producing rays of this quality. It would be interesting to see how filtration and maintenance differs from mine. How Do they know what to breed ray back to or is it even controlled breeding? Pretty cool stuff in my opinion

I know there is a person out there on Facebook that goes by the name Trev Stingray. He has some great quality rays. Also a gentleman named Jamie Barret in the uk has some great quality black diamonds.

Very well said.

I've been in this for a similar amount of time and am flat out tired of failure. Sick of sending dead rays in. I understand some losses happen, you learn from it, but what about when the losses keep happening? I'd love to seek enlightenment from someone who has figured these creatures out to the point where the pics are hard to believe without seeing the animals in person......

When they say it was natural or nothing I could prevent I feel better. IF sick they recommend treatment/meds. But several have came back without any real issues found which could be interpreted as "environmental stress" which means me doing something wrong......
