if i am going to get a new ray what would i need to do? ive never had a ray and thats why i need to know what to do before i do

Stingray keeping can be overwhelming sometimes; I'm glad you came here to ask.
There are basic guides for care, but first let me ask this: have you kept fish before? For how long? what size tank are you planning on getting?

i have been keeping fish for years now and i have a 55 gal setup now and a 30 gal tank setup i am willing to upgrade as it grows if necessary
Just remember when dealing with stingrays your not so much looking at the gallonage of your tank but the foot print. You can have a shallow tank (12") but you would need something longer and wider. The actual foot print would all depend on the species your are planning on keeping. Some can get to be larger then a garbage can lid.
yea here in the near future i am upgrading to a 250+ tank thats why i was wondering. i have fish right now that would undoubtably love a 250+ gal tank so i would want something that would need something that big
