Is it a potential mix? I have a 6x3x2 Tank coming in, and I may have 1 Retic Ray, and 6 Discus. I recently became interested in Bichirs, how many do y'all think I can keep with the stingray and Discus without problems? Thanks!

I have that tank dimension. I would like to know too but more of stingray and bichirs.
I have kept/been keeping a pair of motoro, 1 x senegal, a pair of ornates, 4 uaru (poor man's discus), 13 redhooks, with no issue on an 8ftr. I have to let go of the uaru, senegal and redhooks since it became overcrowded as they grow to maturity and I didn't have the budget/space for a bigger or extra tank.
the current pair of motoro and ornates are on the adult stage and still living without issue. The motoro seems to be pregnant and i have plans to move the ornates out for a project early next year.

I don't mean to revive a month old thread, but I'm curious about the bichir + stingray cohabitation as well. I just set up a 120 high (60"W x 18"D x 26"H) and I've been looking into the smaller breeds of Stingrays.
Currently in this tank is my 10+" Sen. Bichir; 8" Silver aro (NOT permanent by any means); 6" Brown knife'; and 4" bala shark. I'm mostly concerned about the Stingray/bichir interactions because I've had this bichir for almost a decade at this point. I don't want to put him in a position where he will get hurt.
