Stingray eating habits

so i have a small retic ray and its eating but the more i read on here the more it doesnt seem like shes eating enough... an ounce of black worms lasts her about 2~3 days

edit: a bit of info

size of ray 3 3/4 inch disk
temp 80F

no other tank mates contesting her for food, she also seems to be nocturnal... hiding under the sand whenever the light is on but flying around the tank at night when no1 is looking

I would feed her small feedings throughout the day. If you can't see her pelvic bones you are feeding enough. She can blast through much more than an ounce per 2-3 days.

she can but isnt... its not that im not feeding her enough she leaves a bunch on the bottom...i have a colony under one of my rocks now

If she isn't eating all that then I would siphon the majority from your rocks, give her time and her appetite will grow

this is why barebottom is best for new rays..... you can see how much they have eaten and it doesnt make a major mess..
