Hey guys so i had this 5 inch motoro pup for about a week now in a 100 gallon grow out tank with a jar. He has been on a diet of shrimp, bloodworms, and sometimes night crawlers. Sometimes i mix the food but most of the time i just keep them seperate. What is the best food to feed him? He is captive bred and eats almost anything. He eats Hikaria pellets, squid, shrimp, many types of worms, and raw fish. I try to stay from live food and never tried. Closest thing to live food was live blackworms. Any ideas on the best food for him? He doesn't care what food he takes so he doesn't prefer one thing to another, as long as you mix them or change it from time to time.

Variety is key when feeding rays. It not only keeps their diet nutritionally balanced, but enriches their lives as well.
It is good to hear that he accepts so many different foods!

Best regards,
Tom

Thanks so should i just feed him the shrimp, and worms every once in a while. I want him to become a true monster.

I would try to replicate what they eat in the wild as best as I could.

Blackworms, captive bred earthworms and gut-loaded ghost/grass shrimp should fit that bill. You could also keep guppies in the tank for him to hunt occasionally.
