I made a post in the bottom dwellers forum, and someone mentioned rays.

I was wondering if a 220 would be suitable for a ray for a couple of years? if so what kind and at what size should I get it?

The tankmates would be:

1 AT Dat
5 IT Dats
1 Leopard Ctenopoma
1 Tiger Oscar
1 Silver Aro

From what I have read the 220 foot print is to small but from pics I have seen on here it isnt...

Your best bet would be a Motoro because of it's voracious appetite.. however, Your Bioload is a bit ridiculous and rays put off alot of waste themselves.. Depends on the size of your fish at this moment, if they are "big" I would say no way...

Otherwise..
Make sure your nitrates don't get high, and without a drip system that might be impossible.. All of your fish are GLUTTONS and will gorge themselves to no end, and you will have to overfeed in order to feed the ray.. Unless you want to hand feed him everyday.(twice)

my biggest dat is 6" (AT) and my smallest is around 2.5". my Aro is only about 8" atm, all my fish are still small so I dont think the bioload is too bad.

I am not set on getting a ray, just someone mentioned it was an option and my mom wants one more then me, so I just wanted to ask.

oscars are not recomended tank mates for rays... im unsure on the leopard ctenopoma.....
