sorry if this is the wrong section to post this but if so please MOD's do your thing and move this. :) Thanks well so my question is are Atlantic Rays Freshwater or Saltwater...im not sure also what are some requirements to keep them?

both....
they have the ability to change water like samon however they produce more urin in freshwater so you need to have a HUGE tank and a HUGE filtration unit for them, and by that point you might as well do salt water rays since you are in cali, but this ray is the only freshwater ray legal in your state

They thrive in salt though.

They are a sw ray, but they do go into the rivers etc for food and they can adapt to it. However they produce extremely large amounts of waste when kept in lower salinities to overcome the fact they change their osmosis system, I believe.

They stay on the smaller side of rays. very active, but no personality

oh i see...i read on google that the males go around 12" and females larger at 14" in diameter...is this true?
