What do you guys consider the perfect grow out tank for baby rays ?

I have a VERY small tank around 18" by 12". Small foot print that is ideal for small pups and small food feeding, but water volume is rubbish.
However it runs off my 8x4 so water volume is really over 1000 ltrs so volume is huge for pups

How did you hook up the small tank to your big setup if you don’t mind me asking might do the same.

when i have the chance to have pups, i intend to put them in a plastic basket and float it in the main tank

How did you hook up the small tank to your big setup if you don’t mind me asking might do the same.

Just run a pump from the sump of main tank to another tank and return water from that other tank back to the sump. Job done.
