I'm going to my LFS tomorrow to talk with some of the staff. How do I go about removing the lice from my ray and killing anything remaining in the tank?
I've skimmed over all the treads on here and any of the medication suggested seems to be out of production or something.
PLEASE HELP!

Anchors Away will work or any med with dimilin/diflubenzuron. Tetra makes a shot gun med for parasites which also contains it.

I went to two separate LFS's today, all i could find was the Tetra Parasite Guard. Im using a little less than the recommended dose.

Since this carries multiple meds be sure to keep an eye on the rays. I would run a full treatment for 4-5 days give them a break, water changes and then retreat to be sure you kill off any new egg hatches that the meds did not kill.

if you are referring to Argulus then formalin works well, just don't know how rays handle that.
If you can get it from a vet then Program (lufenuron) is a really good option. I can get you a dose for that if needed.

Out of interest, how does a ray get Lice? What do they look like? Anyone got any photos for future refference?

Most elasmobranchs do just fine with formalin. I have used it alot with them. My only suggestion is watch dissolved oxygen levels, and toss in an extra airstone.

Argulus looks just like the name "fish lice" suggests. It's a small external parasite that you can usually see with your eyes. They are very nasty little buggers.
