my lfs has a ray called Stingray Hawaian sp. Blue it's a white ray with a blue tint any idea what kind it is and how to take care of it

Hard to tell from the picture on the website. It looks like the color of the ray is washed out. Isn't there a varient of castexi called "Hawaiin"?

looks like a washed out ...very stressed castexi. There is a variant called 'hawaiian'
They are usually hardy rays when healthy but they get BIG...perhaps 3' across, they are very feisty and they eat like there's no tomorrow.

Why is there a Hawaiian stingray when there are no stingrays that come from the wild there and they are illegal
They come from Peru, they are called that because of the pattern on the ray, looks a bit like lots of islands, and sounds exotic ...helps sell them. This is one of the older fancy trade names.

Isn't same species also called "Pineapple"?
