stingray heater burn .....infected?

So my female motoro got a heater burn about 2 weeks ago ...... Since then I have made a diy heater guard .... Since I couldn't find one for the size heater ..... Anyways the Ray has had plenty of fresh water since the tank is on a drip system.... I can't tell if it is infected or if it's healing and kind of just scabbing

Should I add salt?.... If so how with a drip system...... It's hard to dose on a drip

Should be fine other than a big scar. Just keep water clean and should heal right up.

It looks like its doing fine. I've done a salt bath before its pretty simple. Take water form your aquarium and dose with salt with no other ingredients. they sell it at grocery stores (ingredients will only be salt)

2 tablespoons per gallon for about 15 minutes

This has worked well for me in the past but use at your own risk
