Looking for some help / advice.

I have 7 Rays in my tank.

4 are 12” + and 3 are pups around 6-8inches.

I added 3 large ones about 3 weeks ago and everything has been fine since.

I noticed over the last few days 2 of the rays are not eating and are quite inactive. Just staying in one place no real movement at all.
Both of them are the larger fish.

Male Bd hybrid around 13inch & female BD around 14inch.

The Male is one i added a few weeks ago, the BD i had for months before with the pups.

Water params are fine, no ammonia, no nitrite and only small amount of nitrate, been doing water changes as normal and feeding prawn and muscle as normal. With pellets sometimes.

Every other fish is perfectly fine, no changes in feeding or behaviour at all.
Any advice ?

Would Epsom Salt help at all ?

Thanks

What are your water parameters? How big is the tank? What kind of filtration do you have on it? And finally what's your water change schedule and amount.

The params are ok. No ammonia, no nitrite and small amount of nitrate.

the tank is 7x3x2 and it has a 6.5x2x2 sump with 125l of k1 media in plus a bunch of alfagrog.
I do 50% waterchange on a sunday and around 25% in the week on Thursday.
It used to be at 27c but now i increased it to 29c

Could be from stress from other raise. Could be because of a parasite. Would recheck your water paremeters. Could be from stress or could be because of a parasite. What are u feeding? Would recheck your water parameters and make sure they’re stable and clean the PH. Would dim lights and maybe consider feeding some earthworms or ghost shrimp. Watch your water quality and make sure its clean and PH is stable. Keep an eye on the stooKeep an eye on the poop.

So i checked my PH & KH this morning.

My Ph is 7, but my KH was low, around 3.

I used the NT Labs test kit and it took 3 drops to go yellow not including the 1st one to make the water go blue, so it seems i have a Kh issue.

Any ideas how to raise it ?

My tap water Kh is 6-8. So it takes 6-8 drops to turn yellow on the test kit

Crushed coral can raise it.

I just watched my Female BD do a kind of Cough a few times. The Male Hybrid was doing this, but he passed this morning. Could it be some kind of paraiste ?

I also just done water changer which has changed the Kh a bit higher.
