I am new to stingrays

I have a pair of rays ( a male and a female)

Today morning when i get up i see that the female is behaving irratically,, it i s floating on top and moving with the flow of the water( as if being pushed around) ,,, but it is still breathing.

I have put it in a oxygenated tank what else can i do ? i want to save it?

I just changed about half the water in the tank yesterday( which seems to be the culprit i guess please help the Ph of the water is 7.6)

help soon please

When a ray is on the surface like that your water quality is off. Do a water change, make sure there is lots of oxygen in the water, (add extra bubblers, raise the outputs above the surface) check that your tempature is not to high (should be between 78-82) and cover the tank to relieve stress

I would say the quality of the water in your tank is off. Test it to make sure everything is good. When my pond had a nitrite spike my one ray did this but after a big water change she stopped and her breathing went back to normal. If you do a water change of that magnitude or any water change for that matter make sure the temp of the water going in matches your existing temperature. Turn off the lights just to lessen the stress a little bit more.
