Hello all
I am just at a loss with a male motoro I have. It is as if he has swallowed air everytime he eats, and pulls him off the bottom to where he can't swim back down. This has happened with tilapia, shrimp, earthworms, and clams.
Everytime it happens, I try an Epsom salt dip because I do not know what else to do, and after a few days alone in an isolation basket, I let him go into the big tank only for the cycle to start over again.
Parameters are 0 across the board. Yes I know this is unusual, but I have a very large biofilter, and a drip system set up.
Is this some sort of impaction, or what is this? How do I fix it?
I have treated with kanaplex because I didn't know if it could be bacterial or not. No issues during the treatment with Kanaplex.
Please help!
