Yea , they get pretty big though.. Keep the water real clean. Start them on earthworms and you should have no issues.

i read 14 inch is this correct , also any suggestions on earth worms it sounds silly but do you just dig them up in garden

True Hystrix stay like 14 inch... You do not have a hystrix these get big... earth worms you can dig them up or buy them in a bait shop. They will take other stuf and you should try to get them to eat something easier but that is something to get them started.

They eat earthworms glassworms,bloodworms brine shrimp and sometimes sinking pellets.
