Retics.

they are retics and if they are in your tank get them feeding as they are seriously under weight. feed at least 5 or six times a day as much as they eat in a few minutes. even if it is just bloodworm.
i know people say bloodworm has little nutritional value but if the retics are eating it then just feed more. i have fattend up plenty of badly imported retics on only this with very good success. i think most people under estimate the need for small rays like this to feed little and often.

just get them eating and filling out. and they should be fine

on the plus side they dont look stressed or unhealthy apart from the weight issue. and have really nice markings

well thats good to know....i had been feeding them 3x a day but ill add a couple more feedings in there.....a big part of the problem is i have 2 bala sharks in the same tank and they are stealing food from the Rays, so I'll have to move them...I've also been trying to get them onto sinking pellets by soaking them in the water i used to thaw the bloodworms with a little luck now any suggestions to help with this?

Keep trying the soak method. Don't use loads of pellets just a few each day
to get them used to the flavour/ smell/ texture. Eventually they should start taking pellets.
Until they are much larger and obviously thicker disced and fuller bodied
the starving method is risky for retics in my opinion. Try small earthworms for a much more nutritious food source.
Don't be tempted to start feeding livefood unless they are not eating anything else. As once retics get a taste for live they are really hard to get onother foods.
Good luck and keep feeding them often

lastly keep an eye on your nitrates when feeding this often.
