Theirs so much confusion on them if they are steperate species from the jag/castx ray family. They are discribed By governments as steperate species , They are distributed all throught southern SA even discribed in brazil as a steperate species and a zero quota ray. From what I know castexti rays are found in the same places as falkneri ?? Both have a very long similar tail,both grow very large ? I've read numerous different researches on the two species most say they are a different species.
