Stingray injury?

Hey guys, I noticed during my water change today that one of my rays had a red mark under his disk. Have anyone ever seen something like this? This ray always plays with the bubbles on the air stone. Could it be from swimming up then swimming down on the air stone? Or could it be a sting from my other ray?

Maybe not the right spot but can’t figure how to post , stingray has redness under bottom of mouth is this normal or sumthing going on

But like someone said, looks like a heater burn, and in the second pic it looks like you have a heater in the tank in the top left corner? Put heater inside a pvc tube with holes or something to protect Ray, or better yet buy a fluvall e heater which already has a cover on it?

Thank you yea I have the fluval heater with cover very good investment does the pearl mouth look normal or can it b from digging through the sand

This actually looks surprisingly similar to what happened to my ray not too long ago. Turned into a real nasty infection. I was positive it wasn't heater burn as well.
