Stingray is it male/ female

Ive had my hystrix ray for almost a Year now and i think its a female but how how can i be certain

You have to look at the claspers on their undersides. If the clasper is just rounded it's a female. If the clasper has an additional rocket on it then it's a male

Just look online for how to sex a stingray or look at the stickies they will show images and everything, its super easy to tell

LOL After reading my comment I was hoping you didn't take it as mean. I was just really surprised anybody would have a ray without the curiosity killing them to find out the gender.

you can tell if they are male or female from birth

Its cool. Just wanted to make sure i went the right way in sexing my ray. She still just a pup and has alot more growning to do
