acccording to field studies they eat lots of snails in the wild, as well as these they mainly eat worms , insect larvae etc.
fish are low down the list of prey.

they can crush whole crayfish, so a snail is easy.

Hell yes. Their mouth is like an intense vice. I've had a couple of my fingers bitten during feeding time and its not a funny matter.

My Wife has a scar on her hand where a salt water Ray bit her whilst feeding them in a 1 acre ocean pen in antigua.

There were well over 200 rays swimming with us which was pretty wild when you have that many surrounding you and brushing through your legs...most of them were around a metre across.
