My friend just bought a new ray, it was skinny, she was active anf seems to be hungry and begging for food, but she wont eat, just trying to bite. We treated with prazi, but after dosing with prazi, the ray was not active anymore ahe was just staying at a spot. She is not breathing heavily though. Is or normal for them to act like this when treated with prazi?

Meds can stress fish out especially if sick. Rays seen to be affected more since only a few meds are ever used on them it seems. Prazipro is safe with rays. Shouldnt be from the prazipro. Needs some time. Think just reduce stress and dim lights. Wait it out. Make sure water is clean.

the rays are newy bought but quite skinny . Not sure what the breeder fed them, but they have not yet been fed in the lfs.

Good news , one of the 2 rays already took chopped up prawns , the bigger one just igored food though, prawns, bloodworms and even night crawlers . She seems hungry though
