Stingray pair size question

Hi all, I currently have a 7" male BD stingray and may consider introducing a 16" female stingray with it, just had a few questions as I am still relatively new to keeping stingrays.

1. Will there be any potential issues by introducing the female stingray at that size relative to the size of the male?
2. Will it be hard for the male to potentially mate with the female once he is mature due to the size difference ?
3. From my understanding, males tend to be sexually mature at around 12-13 inches?


Below are pics of the female stingray.. the seller states as a black diamond stingray it kinda looks like a hybrid to me but just want to make sure

Not a BD

Big rays with small rays are a toss up... sometimes it works fine other times it does not...
