I have a retic stingray with a 4in disk. He eats live blackworms, frozen bloodworm and cut up trout worms. I tried to feed him carnivore pellets he made an attempt to eat it and then stopped. I think the pellets might be to big for him.

The other day I feed him aquatic frog pellets and he ate them. The pellets are very small. Since stingrays and clawed frogs have similar dietary needs I figured I could feed him these. I will like others opinion on feeding my ray these pellets.

Do you think I should feed him those pellets? The ingredient looks similar to me. Do you think it is the size of the Hikari which is the reason he won't eat them?

The Frog food looks to be a lower quality food with less enrichments and much fattier. That said, I'm sure it's fine for your ray. Hey, at least he's eating pellets!

You might try Hikari Sturgeon medium pellets or Hikari Cichlid Gold. Fairly cheap and smaller size.

I feed my South Americans Hikari Cichlid Gold, but the floating type. I will go out today and pick up a bag of the sinking pellets. Thanks for you advice.
