Stingray permit

What state do you need permits to keep rays and what do you need then for? I'm moving to Florida next year, will I need a permit to keep my hystrix?

I Googled it and found this. Members of the family Potamotrygonidae are ILLEGAL in the following states: Arizona California Florida Georgia Mississippi Nevada Oklahoma Texas All types of stingrays are ILLEGAL in the following states : Hawaii. It also says Permits to own a freshwater stingray in these states may be restricted to aquariums, zoos and research facilities for educational purposes.
