Does it look like a fungus however? If it is I’ll buy the medication required

So it’s not a fungus but a bite? I thought I read fungus may grow on stingrays tails

Should I add in any other medication besides the melafix?

I wouldn’t bother with any meds, it’s just a typical tail injury.
The damaged area will fall off and the tail will quickly heal on it’s own without need for any chemical additions.
People seem to be all too eager to add meds all the time.
If your water is good rays heal remarkably quickly.

Something likes the rays tail tho ?
Is it kept with other rays or just the bichir? Sometimes rays start to nibble other rays tails once they have been damaged so keep an eye on it

It’s a ray with bichirs. Think it’s the ornate then.
