This 5 inch stingray has been in my fiber glass tank for about a week. It has not been eaten for about a week! Now his belly staterd to bend inwards. I transferred it to smaller tank at the moment because I saw some dark markings thought of my arowana bully him...

5x3x2 feet fiber glass tank.
Ammonia and nitrite 0, nitrate 40.

Do you have any black worms, nightcrawlers, or blood worms on hand? Most rays will happily accept them. Blood worms arent very nutrient dense but its better than nothing. Live ghost shrimp are also readilly accepted by most rays.
What are you currently trying to feed it?
What are his tankmates?
Do you have sand, gravel, or barebottom?
If its barebottom or gravel bottom, switch to sand so he can bury. Pups that small will get stressed pretty easily and they feel safer when they can bury.
His tankmates might be stressing him out causing him to go on a hunger strike
good luck

Agree with the above. Pups that small need time to fatten up and get aggressive when eating before you add them with bigger tank mates. Let him by himself or divide the tank until he gets some weight on.

i agree with all above... I will say my pup hated the light for the first month or two!! So left the black light on when it was feeding time and that seemed to work well for me

All 5 of my rays (past and present) I bought as pups and they have never refused to eat when the light is on, but, the only pup I got that was as small as yours was a male retic who was already eating well at the store.
The dark will defenitely calm him down and should make getting him to eat much easier.
