I am thinking of getting a ray.I am looking for a ray that would stay small.I also was wondering if gravel bottom is ok . sort for the questions just looking for answers to some common questions.If anyone has a link that would be great also . thanks in advance

The 'smaller' species of FW ray tend to be a little bit harder to keep as a beginner ray.

Substrate that is smooth is ok. Avoid gravel that has sharp edges to it.

You need to list tank size (footprint) tank mates. And gravel is not ideal Ray safe sand or bare bottom
