Monoculus ;)
I've had my yepesi ray for about 2 months now. The ray still doesn't seem to understand feeding time.

All the other fish understand, and come right to me. I thought by now the ray would have made the connection.

I can literally poor the blood worms in and he just continues doing his normal thing until he finally catches site of them hitting the bottom

This will have to continue for the next 2 weeks as the tank is at my xgirlfriends and she is caring for them until i relocate the tank.

But when I relocate I really want to get my ray eating some larger foods. I need advise on how to get the ray to hand feed. Well maybe hand feed, lol. I'm quite nervous tbh. I have some large tongs that I will most likely use since the ray scares the crap outta me =o

I just want some sound advise on getting my ray adjusted to some new foods.

I've cut up some shrimp, and the ray shows no interest. I know the pieces were small enough for him to eat. He just went on top of it as normal, but then just went away. He does the same with brine shrimp, and mysis shrimp also.

Not sure what to do. But I def feel he should be eating larger foods then blood worms =O

Thanks in advance <3

There is some great advice on that thread.

As far as hand feeding goes the tongs are the best way to go!
I have seen some people's rays come right up to the side and eat at the surface from the owner's hand. That habit will take a little bit of time and effort to build up.

As far as them recognizing feeding time that also will take a little bit of effort.

When I feed my rays, as soon as they see my hand in the water they come bolting over!!!

You could use the tongs to lure them up the side of the glass to the top where you can teach them to take food from you there :)
