does anyone out there have any information concerning a Reticulated Stingray (teacup). I might have a problem, might not and want to find out.

this afternoon, I noticed on the left back outer edge of my stingray, there is a half dime size red spot on him. can see from top and bottom. looks like blood in the skin. no open bleeding. he isnt as active as usual, but he usually is more active at night though. seems to be eating good, swims good and all in all ok. but is sitting around and just letting his body float around over the bubbles comming out of the airstone.
any ideas how this may have happened or what might be wrong.

has some tank mates.. two guppies, three shark fish, two small suckers one large, two sword fish, 2 rainbow tetras, 2 gourami and 2 dwarf gourami..
all have been in tank for over 6 months, get along and never have had any problems with any of the fish messing with the stingray...

what kind gravel do u have? And those tank mates will be his food.get rid of the three shark fish, two small suckers one large.

he is in sand. and not a problem getting rid of the sharks, but the suckers help keep the tank clean. they dont seem to mess with him.

he is acting like now he is not getting enough air..
