Stingray tank mates.

I was wondering if anyone here has kept discus with stingrays? Is it okay? Could the rays get disease from the discus or vise versa? I just want some opinions from you all before I do or do not do this!!

Well I heard that they go together quite well they generally keep to them selves, but I tried some with my rectic stingray last year and the discus kept pecking at him and stressing him out, So I separated them.

Another thing to keep in mind is the size of the rays. It'll work alright when the rays are young, but if the discus can fit in their mouths, youre gonna lose some discus.

I have tried this combination and it didn't work. Tank size was 7x30x24 rays were about 12 inch discus 6 inch. After only 2 nights one discus had been trapped and had an eye missing. I removed the discus after that
