stingray with no tail

my motoro stingray tail got bitten off by a pacu. will it survive and will its tail grow back? HELPPPPP

the tail won't grow back. i've seen a few rays with stump-tails. make sure the wound doesn't get infected. just curious, is it before or after the spine?

It may take them some time to get used to no tail as they use the tail to steer when swimming

But it should be ok as long as the loss hasn't stressed it out to much
