Okay I have a female reticulatus that I suspect has bitten my puffer on the face. I also just found one of my sengalus bichirs with a circular shaped bite on his side. Saddly he did not survive. Have you ever heard of a ray biting tank mates bichirs mbu puffer and the like????

In my experience stingrays will eat just about anything that they can fit in there mouth, and if they can't fit the hole thing in there mouth they will try to decapitate it.
what he said. my 9" motoro took down a 4" clown loach. took a while but he eventually got it down I was not only upset he ate an expensive loach but scared he would choke.
That is what I thought. THax fellas That is crazy that your ray took dwn a clown loach. I guess I have me a "Thugged Out " Ray!!! I will move her to a tank of her own. Could I put other female rays with her? Thax again for the info on ray behavior.
Rays usually don't attack each other, aside from during breeding or when a male wants to establish he is the king of the tank.
