Stingrays and Ich?

Hi all, I was wondering if any of you ray keepers have ever dealt with ich in a ray tank or pond. A customer has 1 small P. Hystrix in a tank with several cichlids and a catfish. She says the catfish has developed some small white spots on his body so I thought Ich. I feel that I cannot reccomend any treatment for the Ich as I do not know which is safe for the P. Hystrix she has? Are there any Ich treatments that you ray keepers have used safely with your stingrays?

Raise the temp to 90 and leave it there for 3-4 days and it will eliminate the ick. This is exactly what I have my customers do with fish and rays in the same tank. Also add salt 3.5lbs per 100 gallons

so raising the tank temp cures the ick without meds.. just salt and wc?

Yes temp alone with kill ick but has to be over 90. Salt also helps with the temp.

You can try some of the Kordon Ich-Attack. I've used it with everything, including corals.
