Stingrays and native fish

I just wondered if anybody is or has kept stingrays with native species such as LM Bass and Brim? I am new to freshwater and collected some bass and brim to start with. I want to keep stingrays but like my natives so I was wondering if it can be done or should I get rid of them when I am ready for rays.
