Hey guys,
I'm going to be starting up a freshwater Ray tank soon. I'm curious if anyone local happens to breed or have any stingrays/aros available for sale?

I'm probably going to purchase around the March timeframe.

Thanks

I have a 24" black (bluish pink) aro that I'm selling. I just posted on here. I'm located outside of Philadelphia if you're interested, not sure what size you're looking for.

What is your asking price for him? He might be a little too big for my tank. 120 gallons.

Thanks for the reply

120 gallon tank for aros and rays?

Yes. Taboo, I know. I had a nice Black Aro and once he got too big I rehomed him. I know they get huge so once he outgrows the tank I'll either rehome him or upgrade. As for the Rays, I'm interested in seeing how the Algae Scrubber works with them. It is very successful in my saltwater tanks at keeping Ammonia, Nitrites, Nitrates, etc.. down to 0ppm. I'm probably going to see if I can fish out some Freshwater Rays down in Florida near my Father's place. I have to check the laws on that first though, but I think they are a nuisance down there and don't care.

I'm interested in getting some rays myself. I've got a 180 with black aro and some sa cichlids. Probably going to get rid of cichlids and get a 270. There was a guy on here selling a pair of motoros.

A pair of motoros would need a lot larger then a 270g. Eventually the same will hold true for that black aro of yours.

Where did you buy a 450 gallon tank? I've come across glasscages.com and aquartaquariums.com in my search for a big tank. I want to do a little more research before i get a monster tank. Is it glass or acrylic?

It's an acrylic tank from tenecor, but they went out of business. You can check out Titan aquatics(old tenecor employees) or midwest customs.
