stingrays fav food?

hey i have about a 6 inch motoro that had a bad run with my silver aro wich senice has been removed from the tank ive been feeding him red wigglers
but senice he got messed up his apatite isnt that great and he starting to get skinny he is still very active but what do you think i should feed him? also any one ever keep puffers with rays i been wanting to ad one to take out the snails in my tank but don't want it messing with the ray

well.....i'll try bloodworms for the ray, shrimp, prawns, mussles, squid...to see if the ray well eat.
as for the puff, IMO....i wouldn't add the puffer, just for the simple fact that the puffer has a beak that is shape...might bite the ray.

i agree, any substrate? when rays bury themselves , the eyes seem like snails and the puffer will bite them

tostimulate appetite go for worms... live black worms.... red wigglers nightcrawlers frozen blood worms..... and puffer is not good tank mate...

I agree with worms, but if he has stopped eating, try live ghost shrimp. Something about the shrimp gets them worked up. If he keeps getting skinnier even after eating good then you might want to treat with prazi pro for internal parasites.

Instead of a puffer have you looked into some clown loaches? Just a suggestion.

worms,maybe chop market shrimp and mix it with worms.

Thawed frozen shrimps would be a good pick I guess. Puffers aren't the friendly neighbor kinda' fish, your ray won't like them.
