FYI these rays are born in fresh water for a couple of generations, naturally they are salt water capable of both sea and lake. But these have been bred in fresh water. so, they have been in only freshwater for most of their lives. They need to be acclimated into salt water if you plan on doing so.

They are compatable with almost every single aquarium fish, other than some full grown river flying turtle perhaps.
