Plans have changed for me so now im looking to have a large tank as a forever home for a few of my dream fishes. Will a 525g 10ftx4ftx2ft (LxWxH) tank be sufficient for:
1 Silver Aro
1 African Aro
1 Mono PBass
1 Congo Bichir
And 2 Oscars

I would like more ideas for stocking, my ideas were:
Tinfoil barbs
Pheonix barb

(Height might be an issue for these):
Pacu
Giant Gourami

Florida Gar?(width size might be an issue)

OR I buy more of the same species and keep that as the stock

Id like either large cool looking schooling fish and maybe 2 more bottom dwellers or just larger solo monsters who arent known to be too aggressive. Also if my tank is too small please let me know, ill just throw 1k guppies in it :)

It is either I go with 2 more monsters and 1 bottom monster or schooling with 2 bottoms, trying to keep an average to low stock tank for these guys. Filtration will be overhead sump of 3000gph pump with 55 gallon mechanical filter into 55gallon drum of biological media+k1.

While your tank is large enough to house everything you mention, I would replace the African aro (or silver, whichever you favor more) with the gar. Mainly, the concern would be mixing arowana species, I think you need a larger tank to mix arowana species. You might be able to pack in either the barbs or a gourami.

Thank you It'll be hard to make a decision but I think Silver would be my go to because it's the first fish that peaked my interest in fish keeping. Do you have any catfish or other bottom dweller species recommendations?

I wouldn't consider it a good forever home for a silver aro or pacu. African aro may not fit well with the others as well. Consider the following stocks:
- oscars are fine
- azul, pinima, or fogo bass
- megalodoras
- adonis pleco
- myleus setiger or any of the (larger) redhook silver dollars
OR
- giant gourami (any species)
- phoenix barbs
- maseers
- chitala
- high fin shark

I've read that young African arowana are a filter feeder. I would also drop the endlicheri from that list because it probably will be outcompeted for food. Pacu and Giant gourami gets massive.
For my other tanks I feed every other day, but a bit over feed to ensure all gets their food while watching, I make sure the water changes and filtration suit my feeding habits for the fishes as well. I have no issues with learning to target feed with monsters in the tank if needed. But if it's possible I would love to have the Congicus Bichir over others even if it means dropping the bass and oscars.

Thank you, is the height the issue for the aro as well? I think for sure the pacu the height will be an issue so im scratching it off the list.

Arowanas aren't very tall fish (I've seen full grown adults), I think you'll be fine. Also, if Silver aros aren't working, you could try something smaller like a Jardini.

I actually love Jardinis but their aggression reputation is what I fear the most, I feel it's atleast 90% of the time you'll have one that need's it's own tank.

I was more concerned about the length and width given the aro has the potential to reach 3-4 feet. I get that for a slow slinky fish like that it's not as crazy of a turning problem but only being able to pace 3 times your body length does not seem like a good quality of life long term to me.
