Hey guys and girls I'm looking for some interesting stock ideas for my 1000 litre tank currently have 2 uaru, 1 ghost knife, 4 geo jupari, 1 female rectic ray I love the idea of a tiger shovel nose or any large interesting fish I don't mind if this is a grow out tank for a year or two I plan to build a 8x3x2 ft next year or so but seek the advice of the mfk pros any advice well appreciated

What about a gentle giant like a Niger or giraffe catfish ? Just an idea ;)
 
Thanks for that the Niger catfish looks lovely and from the same region as most of my species could be a good companion I will do a little more research on them first thanks for the idea

I've got a couple , ive also got an irwini and a giraffe but out of the three species the Niger is by far the most layed back even during feeding times , they do cone out during daylight but are dosile all round quality fish to have in big setups , go planetcatfish.com for helpful info :D
 
Niger and giraffe cats can grow to about three feet in length.
 
+2 on the giraffe catfish. I have a 14" one and hes awesome. I can even pet him.

Well after reading lots of personal opinions about the giraffe cat and a bit of research I have decided that the giraffe is the one for me all I got to do now is find one get a price and order thanks all for the suggestions I never really new about these somehow? Lol as soon as I get one I will post
