ok well i currently have the fish in my sig in my 140. i am remove the payara and hujeta to my g's 55g whitch is empty to make room for a 13" florida gar whitch is housed with tinfoil barbs apprently this gar has a great temperment so im going to risk having my 9" african pike as tankmates. any thoughts

I'd split the 140 with eggcrate divider and see how the gar does with the other fish. You'll get to judge aggression without forcing the payara and hujeta into the smaller 55.
I wouldn't subject the payara and hujeta to such small tank. If the problem is compatibility, re-home the fish that won't make it, but don't subject them to a bad life in a 55
