Hi i was wondering if i could keep a clown knife, saratoga, pleco, fire eel, giant gourami and clown loaches in a 180g tank with 30g sump?
I know i need a couple of logs for the eel to hide in, how much wood should i put in there? should i put it all in a corner and leave alot of swimming space for the other fish? I will be getting them all as babies and putting them all in at the same time, Thanks for your comments.

Yes...Giant Gouramis get big and make great showcase fish....I would leave the pleco out...PLecostomas get big and just add a lot of waste....A 30g sump is perfect for a 180....

Fill one side of the tank with driftwood...If not going for a strict wild look, crack some potting pots in half and plce them under and around the driftwood.....

Make sure to purchase clown loaches in groups of 5 or more....These fish love to school and setup ranks amongst them...Clown loaches can reach 15 inches....

get the pleco just not a common pleco they grow too large and fast and end up making more of a mess than they're worth get a para, phantom or something similar in growth rate and potential size

^ agree.. I'd think twice before adding both a clown knife and a gg into a 180.. I'm not saying it cant be done but I have seen some pretty massive ggs and tlkmnd's knifes are 40"..
