Was just wandering what you guys think about the stock list i am thinking about for a 125 i am about to purchase. I was thinking about a jag, red devil, red terror and a red texas and maybe a couple of cats do you think that this could be a life time tank for these fish. Any comments would be much appreciated

Certainly not.
Probably wouldnt even last a couple days. These are some of the most aggressive cichlids central america has to offer. All of them are way too territorial for tankmates, especially in a 125gal. If you want a successful central american cichlid community, large aggressive fish arnt the way to go, they will just kill eachother, as well as any cats put in with them. These fish will claim 75-125gal to just themselves. Your tank size would be great for a pair(male and a female) of any of the species you have listed above.

:iagree:

For a 125 that is an aggressive stock. It may work while they are very small but in the end they would clash. The RD and Jag would definitely require more space when setting up territories. Festae can be highly aggressive regardless of sex. Maybe keeping a pair of one of these species would be better or make a different stocking list.

hey man heres my stocklist for my 125, it mainly ca:
1 blood parrot (male)
2 jack dempseys(females)
3 pictus catfish
1 ornate pim catfish
1 red texas cichlid(male)
1 green terror (unknown)
and possibly 1 convict or 1 del or ornate bichir
your stocklist that you have listed will give you nothing but trouble when they get bigger.
