IRELAND!!!!
Ok instead of me just asking question after question about fish I see, I will just leave it at this and try to decide. What fish would be good for my tank (26 Bow Front) 10" at sides Bows out to 15" in center 21" tall and 24" wide. I just want a single fish that swims in mid to top no bottom fish please and that will make a good display when fully grown (I was hoping in the 3 1/2"-5" range) and that wil be 100% reef and shrimp safe! I have decided that I really dont want a group of fish, just 1 nice sized display fish to complment the reef with some movement. Please help as the title say I have confused and aggravated my self so bad :duh: on this salty adventure of trying to choose a fish that I am Completely Lost! Any help will be greatly appreciated!

i would say a angler/frogfish but you dont want bottom, hmm i would then say flame angel but it kinda iffy with some corals, how bout some kind of flasher wrasse.

if you can find them i really like vanderdilt chromis.. kind of subdued colors, but really nice up close

a flasher wrasse of some sort would be nice, but mostly stay around the bottom, at least they're active

flame cardinal
aldabrensis dottyback
orchid dottyback
royal gramma

ya flasher wrasses stay around the rockwork but are majorly active as stated by BIG

Maroon clownfish?

Thank you so much for all your help I have checked out some of the flasher wrasse and they look very nice but do wrasse require live food or will they accept frozen? I have always liked the maroon clown but I was scared it would get to big for the tank (will it?) Because if a single maroon clown will be ok thats what I will go with. If the maroon clown is to big I really like the yellow fin flasher and McCosker's wrrase. BIG I looked up the chromis and they are really nice. I was thinking the only chromis were the bluegreen and that was it, learn something new every day! Found the vanderbilt here http://www.bluezooaquatics.com/index.asp.

BTW has anyone ever heard of this blue zoo. Are they a reputable place to deal with ?

Thanks to everyone who has helped so far!

If you go with a single maroon, you wouldn't necessarily have to limit yourself to only that fish in your tank. You could add a couple of other peaceful guys in there, but I'd definitely stay away from adding any other kind of clown.

Cool. Thanks for the help everyone. Anyone else have any suggestions not yet mentioned?

Clownfish
dartfish/firefish
basslet
pseudochromis

Iam not saying that each of these are compatiable with the other becuse iam not up to date on smalle fish compatability but more so an potential stock ideas to choose from

maroons get quite big for that tank IMO.
