stock list of a 40 gal breeder

I have a 40 gal breeder with a marineland penguin 350 hang on. The stock list is as follows I have 6 mextico blue about a 1in or 2 , one three in. ebjd(just having in the till he gets a little bigger then i am moving him). I have 2 rainbows cichlid in there ones about 5 and the others about 4 inches. My question is am i overstocked . Also can i add some livebearers if at all possible.

The live bearers will get torn up.

i guess if you can keep up with the Water Changes you should be fine. Good Luck

I was told people have kept livebearer with mixteco blues

ok i have 15 sum feeder gups 5 platys 2 mollys with my livebearers and my cichlids dont even bother them at all they dont even look at the livebearers so im sure some swordtails wont be a problem for u

maybe Mixtos wont bother them but EBJD will. And i belive the rainbows will too. 5 inch fish will bully a 2 inch fish.

yeah maybe the rainbows ok but they are docile but when i but the live bearers in there the ebjd will not be in there
